Food Service Assistant Job Description:

Our Food Service team seeks an energetic, outgoing professional to join our school. This position is a part-time position daily, while school is in session, from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help prep and serve food
• Wash dishes/trays by hand or dish machine
• Sweep and mop dining room/kitchen floors
• Lifting, stacking and putting away dishes/trays, pots and pans
• Assist team members
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working in a food service environment or school preferred
• Experience running and maintaining a dish machine preferred
• Ability to work well in a team and multi-task is a must
• Ability to lift and carry heavier objects, continuously standing.
• Must possess a passion for inclusion and community efforts
• ServeSafe credential
